The Annual Labor Day gathering celebrates Park City’s Mining Heritage and raises money for Summit County non-profit organizations. We invite everyone to come to Park City and help celebrate our rich mining heritage with our Miner’s Day Celebration & Parade.

Making FUN in Park City is the theme of the annual Miners’ Day parade down historic Main Street, attracting marching bands and community floats as Park City celebrates its mining heritage. Put your blanket down on the curb with the kids and be ready for the fun. The parade is scheduled for 11:00 a.m., just after the annual Running of the Balls down Main Street. The parade route runs the length of Main Street, before skipping over to Park Avenue and on down to City Park.
What fun it is to be a part of the crowd on Park City’s historic Main Street each Miners’ Day for the Running of the Balls – a cause-based event to benefit our community’s nonprofits with proceeds going back to nonprofits here in Park City.
Miners’ Day in Park City offers something for everyone, young and old. Enjoy a day in the park, a curbside spot for the parade and Running of the Balls or a spot in the bleachers for the legendary Mucking and Drilling Competition. 8:00 a.m. – Miners’ Day Bark City 5k Run, City Park (bring your dog)
10:30 a.m. – Running of the Balls, Main Street (get there early to buy balls or buy in advance online)
11:00 a.m. – Miners’ Day Parade, Main Street
11:30 a.m.-4:00 p.m. – Food Trucks & Beer/Liquor Garden, Food Trucks & Beer/Liquor Garden, City Park
11:45 a.m.-4:00 p.m.– Music in the Park, City Park Stage
