Deer Valley Resort Announces 2020-21
2020-2021 WINTER OPERATIONS
To Our Deer Valley Family of Guests,
Winter is fast approaching, and we wanted to take this opportunity to update you on the coming season and to thank you for your patience over the last two months as we worked through our operational plans. As you know, this is an exceptional time, and we are making every effort to operate as safely as possible to help keep our guests and staff safe during this pandemic.
This past summer we were open on a limited basis and were able to apply many great learnings from our successful season to our winter operation. In addition, we have worked closely in developing our plan with the team at Alterra Mountain Company and the Summit County Health Department, while following their guidelines along with those of the CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) and State of Utah.
We will begin welcoming guests opening day, scheduled for Saturday, December 5, 2020, and are looking forward to providing you with the chance to again recreate in the mountains, enjoying the freedom and tranquility of skiing in the crisp mountain air with time to focus on what really matters, connecting with the people who matter the most to you.
Our preparations for this winter season are based on the current guidelines issued by the Summit County Health Department, the State of Utah and the CDC. We will remain fluid in our efforts and will adjust as needed to meet any new or changing situations and/or guidelines.
- At this time, reservations are not required for Deer Valley Season, Ikon Pass, or Ikon Base Pass holders to ski Deer Valley
- While on Deer Valley property, MASKS or FACE COVERINGS are REQUIRED when waiting in line, interacting with Deer Valley staff, riding, loading, and unloading chairlifts and at all times indoors (unless actively eating or drinking while seated at a table).

We strongly encourage guests who do not have a Deer Valley Season, Ikon, or Ikon Base Pass to purchase lift tickets well in advance of their planned visit to avoid disappointment.
